I was down on 40 meters the other night and heard several strong DX stations from Europe coming in. I primarily have worked CW in the past but have found myself tuning through the SSB portion of the bands lately and have worked some DX using SSB. I have read some articles that indicate solar activity has picked up in the past week and I think we have 4 active solar clusters on the sun. The SFI has been running in the 80’s over the past few days. This video clip is of some DX I was hearing on 40m and towards the end is a clip of me working a station in Italy and one in Bulgaria.

I got my Livestream setup going the other day. I have the player embedded on my blog and also on my qrz page. This is an awesome tool. Many times guys wonder how they sound on the other end of the QSO and this gives them an opportunity to hear how their signal sounds on the receiving end. Right now I have the cam aimed directly at my rig so they can also see the signal strength.
The Livestream player also has a chat feature so listeners can also send messages to me while I am broadcasting.
